Atlanta Horrorfest is now accepting submissions for short films, feature films, thrillers, sci-fi horror, experimental horror, and horror comedies.
We are looking for independent horror films that push the genre forward.

Atlanta horrorfest Entry Guidelines
Rules and Terms
- All submissions must go through FilmFreeway with a secure online screener.
- We accept shorts and features in all styles of horror, including thriller, dark sci-fi, supernatural, experimental, and psychological horror.
- Films that have premiered elsewhere or are available online are still eligible for consideration.
- Filmmakers will be notified via FilmFreeway. Timely responses are appreciated.
- Screening files and promotional materials must be submitted at least two weeks before the festival.
- Georgia-based filmmakers and films shot in Georgia are considered for the Best Local Film award.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
